Project Overview
NWGF (Nurturing Wellness Foundation) is seeking a creative social media marketing volunteer to join our team for the 2022 winter/spring/Summer term (start and end dates are flexible). The ideal candidate will possess marketing savvy and be highly comfortable using social media to create mission awareness and promote upcoming events. You would work directly with the CEO, Director of Events, and project leadership teams
The ideal candidate for this position will help develop content to support our social media strategy and Train our team. Be comfortable working with a small team setting, has experience in a virtual work setting, and are interested in working with mission-driven organizations.
This project is 100% virtual.
Support our social media calendar and coordinate with NWGF’s CEO and Director of Events and leadership team dependent on the project, to implement social media campaigns that help to achieve nonprofit goals.
Your other duties will include:
* Collaborating with the NWGF leadership team to develop social media plans and content that appeals to our nonprofit audience
* Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for blog posts and social media content that is engaging and informative.
* Help manage a social media content calendar.
* Responsible for writing post copy, managing follower engagement, and planning social media campaigns for marketing and
communication needs.
* Coordinate and build an image and media library around our Social Media strategy.
* Research nonprofit community content needs and target audience.
* Create engaging blog posts.

The Nurturing Wellness Group Foundation will use a holistic approach and partner with parents, schools, and community organizations to provide youth and young adults with support and resources that will empower them to become contributing members of our society.
