Develop an Online Directory/Internal Program Management System

Design an online directory. PROJECT NILO (www.projectnilo.com) will provide business education to college student athletes and parents of student athletes. Each of the people who participate in the programs (e.g., athletes, service providers, academics, etc) are required to submit their contact info and a short video (less than five minutes).

One of my dreams is to have an easy-to-use online directory for participating students and parents that categorizes and combines vitas with the videos. We need: 1) setup a free or low-cost platform with inclusion of the entries (contacts with videos or links to video) we have so far, 2) a sample application for collecting future info, 3) advice re: if/how to charge companies for future inclusion, and 4) a short video for future volunteers re: how to update and maintain the system

We need a volunteer to create an intuitive, easy-to-use online directory that will serve as a lifeline for these athletes and their families. This directory will provide access to a trusted, categorized list of speakers, service providers, and sponsors—all committed to supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs.

We already have website (www.nilolimited.org) employed to help to boost our SEO and outreach. We have designed an application and will start collecting the contact info and videos online from speakers in August and will hold a hybrid event to recruit speakers in September.

Once we have the system set up along with available list of contacts and a set of instructions (maybe a quickie video re: how to use the system), we will seek volunteers (e.g., students, a company providing pro bono assistance or our website management group) to add new entries as required. Its use will be restricted to members of Project NILO. The directory will be invaluable to students and parents as they seek knowledge and assistance after the program ends. The system can also be used as a fundraiser (companies and individuals could be required to pay to be included in the directory) or a benefit to speakers or employees.
