Project Overview: We Connect the Dots is seeking a skilled volunteer with expertise in graphic design, animation, and multimedia to help us create an animated brand character. Much like Duolingo’s owl, this character will be a dynamic, engaging symbol that instantly ties back to our identity. The project focuses on integrating the vibrant colors from the dots in our logo into a memorable and animated character that represents our organization.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Concept Development:
• Collaborate with our team to brainstorm creative ideas for an animated character that embodies our brand values and personality.
• Produce initial sketches and digital drafts that incorporate the specific colors and design elements of our We Connect the Dots logo.
• Iterative Design Process:
• Refine the design through a series of revisions and feedback sessions, ensuring the character remains unmistakably connected to our brand.
• Experiment with animation styles that best showcase the character’s personality and align with our multimedia vision.
• Final Animation Production:
• Create a polished, web-optimized animated file that can be used across digital platforms including our website, social media, and Taproot Plus.
• Deliver the final assets in formats that support further digital application and promotional use.

Volunteer Commitment:
• Time: 2-5 hours per week
• Duration: Limited engagement over approximately 2-4 weeks

We’re excited to work with a creative, multimedia-savvy volunteer who can help us bring this vibrant, animated brand character to life, ensuring that whenever someone sees it, they instantly know it’s We Connect the Dots.

Your creative contribution in designing an animated brand character will amplify our identity and help community members instantly recognize “We Connect the Dots.” This project will enhance our outreach and digital presence, driving engagement and fostering a stronger, more connected community—all while spotlighting your unique talent.

We’ve secured strong internal support with a dedicated project manager and all the essential brand materials (logo, color palette, and guidelines) ready to guide your work. We’ve established a clear, milestone-driven workflow over a 2–4 week period and set up effective communication channels for timely feedback. Once completed, your work will be seamlessly integrated across our digital platforms, making a lasting impact on our brand identity.
