I need a volunteer to help my organization create marketing and partnership materials to support board recruitment and corporate engagement.
We are looking for a volunteer to help us design a concise, visually appealing set of materials that we can share with prospective board members and corporate partners. Specifically, we hope to:
(1) Create a short slide deck (under 10 slides) highlighting JPA’s mission, programs, and impact, and showcasing opportunities for board membership and corporate partnerships.
(2) Develop a one-pager that clearly summarizes these opportunities in a way that is visually compelling and easy to share.
(3) Ensure that messaging emphasizes our goals of expanding the board, increasing event attendance, and building a pipeline for long-term fundraising and corporate support.
(4) Provide recommendations for visual design, messaging, and flow that will make the materials persuasive to busy leaders.
This project will directly support JPA’s mission of bringing compassionate, innovative mental health resources to children in need and the adults who support them (parent(s), guardian(s), caregiver(s), and educator(s)). By developing clear, compelling materials for prospective board members and corporate partners, we will increase engagement with key stakeholders who can help expand our reach, strengthen our programs, and build sustainable support for our work. Volunteers will play a critical role in helping us connect with the leaders and organizations that will ensure JPA continues to thrive and serve more children across Chicago.
We'll provide the volunteer with relevant a background briefing on our programs, mission, vision, and purpose. The volunteer will collaborate as needed with our Development Manager to review existing materials (slide decks, one-pagers) and help translate our goals into polished, professional materials ready for outreach. The outcomes from this project will be immediately implemented in board recruitment efforts, corporate engagement, and outreach for our 125th anniversary and annual benefit. We are committed to working collaboratively with the volunteer and providing timely feedback to ensure the project is completed successfully.

Organization Mission

The Juvenile Protective Association (JPA) envisions a world where no child ever has to struggle alone. We work to achieve this goal by bringing compassionate, innovative mental health resources directly to children in need and the adults who support them. Through our therapeutic programs and services, we’re helping kids in Chicago’s underserved neighborhoods navigate trauma and reach their fullest potential at home, in school, and in our communities.
