Our organization aims to create a modernized, user-friendly, and fully optimized web presence with the support of a skilled volunteer. As we continue to expand our programs—including Street Care and our new micro-school initiative—we need assistance updating and improving our WordPress and Wix websites to reflect our rapid growth.

The volunteer will help us implement design updates, improve user experience flows, ensure technical functionality across platforms, and connect our sites to key systems such as our mobile app and online store. Although coding needs are limited and infrequent, we welcome volunteers with varying skill levels and will shape the scope of work based on the volunteer’s strengths. Ultimately, we seek to build a cohesive, accessible, and engaging digital experience that supports the needs of our community and outreach programs.

By assisting with our website development and design needs, the volunteer will significantly strengthen our ability to reach and serve vulnerable populations. A clear, engaging, and technically sound online presence enables us to educate the public, mobilize volunteers, share program resources, and scale initiatives such as Street Care and Wellness Week—programs that have already reached tens of millions of people.

Improved digital infrastructure allows our organization to better communicate opportunities, streamline support services, and elevate community outreach efforts. Through this project, the volunteer’s contributions will directly enhance our capacity to inspire compassion, expand access to resources, and continue creating meaningful social impact on a national scale.

Our team has prepared for this project by securing internal alignment on website priorities and gathering all relevant materials—including design references, site maps, platform access, and updated program information. We have identified specific pages requiring updates, documented UX concerns, and outlined the integrations needed to ensure smooth connection with our mobile app and online store.

To support an efficient and positive collaboration, we have designated a primary contact who will provide timely feedback, share required assets, and coordinate communication across departments. Additionally, we have organized an internal content library so the volunteer can easily access text, images, and program updates essential for site enhancements.

Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization. BME was just featured on ABC, CBS, Politico, Newsweek, and many more outlets for our vaccination project and we need more people to join us as we continue to solve urgent social issues! CBS News said of our newest app: "Health experts have said friends and family are key to getting those who aren't vaccinated and experts say this (Vaccination Rewards) app will start those conversations. "Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
