Guidance on Rebuilding a Website and Changing Hosts
I currently have a website, but I’m unhappy with my hosting provider. The site is currently inaccessible due to a reported virus (according to the host), and I’d like to move on from them entirely. My goal is to create a new website using a platform like Wix, WordPress, or Squarespace, but I’m feeling lost on how these services work and what steps I need to take.
I have a few key questions: Do I need to keep paying my current host? Can I transfer anything from my existing (non-working) website? I’m looking for guidance from someone tech-savvy who understands web hosting and website setup. My current host has been unresponsive, so I’m hoping to get answers and next steps from someone more knowledgeable. Thank you!
