ECI is a distinguished organization with over 60 years of history and a vital mission. We have a lot of respect globally because over a period of two decades we originated the Earth Constitution, which is designed to replace the nearly obsolete United Nations Charter. I wrote a book on this field called One World Democracy; I know the issues well, and am a firm believer in radical UN reform as a doorway to a much better world. I have strong CEO skills having run a publishing house for 20+ years. I have been brought on as a consultant, and I am now running key programs, and I am moving toward becoming the executive director very soon. My predecessor, Dr Glen Martin, is the world's leading theorist in our field (United Nations reform and democratic world federation) and is now 79 years old. Sadly, he has done poorly on fundraising and business operations. Almost no one on the board is a "business builder." I am the only significant paid staffer, and Dr Martin favors me becoming the ED. We have to rebuild the business and get fundraising back on track to hire staff and build programs, as UN reform is now very much on the global agenda.
